Purpose
At the age of 26, Tyler passed away due to a tragic motorcycle accident on June 7, 2020. Tyler attended Immaculate Heart of Mary grade school and was a proud 2012 graduate of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. Starting at the age of 5, most of his life revolved around the game of baseball. Tyler continued his education and love of baseball at Shawnee State and finished 4 fantastic years at Capital University in Columbus, OH. Baseball helped Tyler gain many lifelong friendships and skills. His family and friends created this foundation to help his passion for baseball live on. These scholarships will be given out to up-and-coming baseball players to provide financial assistance in the pursuit of a baccalaureate degree.
Award Details
The number of scholarships and the amount of each scholarship will be determined by the foundation after all applications are received. The winner(s) will be notified. Scholarships will be paid directly to the University/College the recipient is attending to be applied to their tuition.
Scholarship Eligibility
To be eligible for consideration for the Tyler Cetnarowski Memorial Foundation Scholarship, the applicant must:
Be a high school senior who has committed to play baseball in the upcoming year at a University or College.
Or be a current collegian baseball player at a University/College.
